What is Top Surgery for Female-to-Male (FTM)
Top Surgery (FTM) Transgender Female-to-Male is a procedure to create a more masculine-looking chest in transgender men. The procedure removes both of your breasts, removing fat and skin, eliminating excess skin near your breast, repositioning your nipple and areola, and making other changes to create a natural-looking men’s chest. FTM top surgery may help relieve gender dysphoria so this surgery is well-known for transgenders female to male service recipients.
Who is FTM top surgery for?
Top surgery is suitable for those who want to remove the breasts so that the breasts are flattened according to the general male characteristics. Most of the service recipients are usually trans men or transgender people from female-to-males, and men who have a symptom of Male Breast Enlargement (Gynecomastia).
